Joseph says ‘it is not in me; God will give Pharaoh a favorable answer. Through this, we see the humility of Joseph. God will exalt us in due time, as long as we’re humble. But when is the proper time?

Joseph’s integrity was shown when he resisted sexual temptation with Potiphar’s wife. How did he do it? Through all lustful sins, God still loves every man as if there is no one else to love.

It’s important to see who God is through the life of Jesus. He also explains that God is a loving, gracious God. God comes to us in the midst of our sin. Because he loves us.

Harry Velacoop is a Elim graduate and Roberts Wesleyan grad. He served in missions for fourteen years in Argentina and Paraguay. He has worked in multiple places since then including serving as dean of administration at Elim. He is currently a pastor in Livonia, NY. He starts by asking the question, what would it be like to know Jesus? He emphasizes the love that Jesus gives us through the intimate relationship with Him. Jesus didn’t meet us halfway. He came and met us fully to where we were at in our own lives.
