Other Financial Options

Payment Plans:
Students unable to pay all of their semester charges at registration may qualify to make payments during that semester.  Please contact Student Finances for more information.

Off-campus employment: Single students may request permission for off-campus employment in order to meet school expenses.  Permission is granted based on academic standing and financial need, and is limited to approximately 20 hours per week.  Elim recognizes that married students usually must work to support their families.  International students may not secure off-campus employment without a U.S. Immigration Dept. work permit.

On-campus employment: Limited to a small number of positions.  Due to this limitation, it is important for incoming freshmen to have their first semester paid for in full at registration, and have a payment plan for the second semester that does not include on-campus work.  Please contact the Admissions Dept. for more information.

Social Security Benefits: Elim is qualified to train persons receiving education benefits from the Social Security Administration.

Verteran's Benefits: Certain Elim Bible Institute programs are approved by the New York State Education Dept. for the training of veterans and other eligible persons.  G.I. Bill beneficiaries are entitled to a refund computed on a pro rata basis in the event of withdrawal or discontinuance under the provisions of Title 38 U.S. Code.
