Elim Bible Institute and College is a member of the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS), having been awarded Candidate Status as a Category I institution by the TRACS Accreditation Commission on April 21, 2015. This status is effective for a period of up to five years. TRACS is recognized by the United States Department of Education, the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE).

In November 2012, EBI&C was granted a provisional charter valid for a term of five years by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York to conduct programs leading to the Associate in Applied Science degree.



The Evangelical Council of Financial Accountability (ECFA) recognizes Elim Bible Institute and College as one of its charter members. ECFA accredits its members and holds them to high standards of accountability with respect to governance, financial management and stewardship/ fundraising practices. Founded in 1979, ECFA provides accreditation to leading Christian nonprofit organizations that faithfully demonstrate compliance with established standards for financial accountability, transparency, fundraising and board governance. Members include Christian ministries, denominations, churches, educational institutions and other tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations.
