Higher Education for a Higher Purpose

In addition to spiritual and character development, Elim pursues academic excellence. A challenging and flexible curriculum is taught by passionate faculty and enhanced by a range of ministry and learning opportunities. Elim will prepare you to make a difference for Christ.

Higher Education for a Higher Purpose. That is the heart behind all we do at Elim. Our academic programs are designed to meet each student where they are at and then stretch and grow them to fulfill God’s call on their lives. From one-year foundation building programs to an Associates or Bachelor’s Degree, we have the right program for you!

Distance Education

Attend college at home (or wherever you are) through Elim’s high-quality educational training through fully accredited online courses in theology, Christian ministry, college preparation and more.

Chapels

Faculty

The faculty and staff at Elim are wholeheartedly committed to helping you become Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered leaders, and will passionately guide you in reaching your potential and fulfilling the destiny God has for you.

Student Ministries

While classroom learning is important, it only makes up a portion of the training students need to succeed once they leave Elim. That is why we place every student in real ministry settings each semester, coupling experiential learning with academics.

NYSUM Internship

Each year, students journey to New York City for a three-week intensive urban ministry internship. Our goal is that every student will finish the internship with practical experience as well as an increased passion for God’s people living.

Academic Catalog

Delve into the learning side of your experience at Elim. Each program is described in detail as well as the specifics of classroom requirements, internships and finances.

Articulation Agreements

An articulation agreement is essentially a partnership between two institutions to recognize credits toward a college degree. Elim’s long tradition of high academic standards makes it possible to transfer credits to select Christian colleges via articulation agreements.

Library

The S. Joy Niswander Library was established in 1924. Within the facility is a comprehensive collection of approximately 30,000 physical holdings including books, audio and visual media, journals, and an archival collection of the establishment of Elim and early Pentecostalism.
