Powderpuff football

A beloved tradition at Elim is the Powder Puff Football game held in the fall or spring semester. This competitive flag football game is held between the freshman, sophomore, senior and staff women!  This intramural event is a time of skill, exercise and competition for all the female students and staff on campus! There is music, snacks and hot drinks for all who attend.

Dr. John Miller Bowl

The Dr. John Miller Bowl has become a popular event in recent years. Started as the men’s answer to the women’s intramural powder puff game it has now risen to equal that in fun, exercise, and skill on the gridiron! Also held in the fall or spring semester, it is a competition between the freshman, sophomore, senior and staff men,  where their intensity and competition are something to behold as they “duke” it out for fun prizes and bragging rights. There is music, snacks and hot drinks for all who attend.

Annual talent show

The Annual Talent Show is truly a highlight of the academic year here at Elim. Students audition for their particular skit/talent to be entered in the Talent Show. Each year the students have produced a quality variety show that is both holy and fun! This is one activity that all in which the students aspire to participate as performers or backstage workers…or both!

Dorm Christmas decorating

Creativity abounds in the annual Dorm Christmas Decorating Competition. Each dorm room decorates their room door with the best of Christmas’ bulbs, ribbons, and bows.. The competition is fun and brings the dorms closer as individuals who are participating in and celebrating Christmas!
