Servant is an outreach ministry of Elim Bible College, devoted to bringing Spirit-led worship and practical service to the local church.

Just as each one has received a gift,

use it to serve others,

as good stewards of the varied grace of God.

Servant is back! As a revived ministry, our student team is making biweekly trips to visit area churches. The heart of Servant, though, goes beyond just a visit. Our vision is to grow relationship within the body of Christ, connecting your church to Elim by doing real ministry with passion and humility. Worship and service are our activities, but as part of Elim Bible College, our passion is to see people uplifted, blessed, launched into their calling, and set on fire for Jesus. When Servant comes to church, we do so in a variety of ways, but all with that same heart.


Our powerhouse student team will:

  • Lead worship and minister in the Spirit
  • Inspire youth about God’s plan for them and connect them with Elim
  • Serve your church with a practical service project or event

Service Templates

Blended Worship

  • Servant team leads worship for the whole length of the service (approximately 1 hour)
  • Spontaneous worship and brief exhortation may be incorporated
  • Amid the worship, students share testimonies and exhortations
  • Prayer ministry may be blended in

 

Worship and Speaker

  • Servant team leads worship for approximately 30 minutes
  • Prayer, spontaneous worship, and brief exhortation may be incorporated
  • After worship, one or more Servant team members will give a Biblical message or testimony


Worship Only

  • Servant team leads worship for approximately 30 minutes
  • Prayer, spontaneous worship, and brief exhortation may be incorporated
  • After worship, the pastor or scheduled speaker will take over
  • Servant will be available to meet and pray with people after the sermon

Ian Laird is an Elim graduate and worship leader. Whether in speaking, worship, prayer, or media, Ian's heart for Servant is to bless and encourage the body of Christ, building unity and connection. He and his wife, Bridget, met at Elim, and share a passion for helping people glorify God and know Him in spirit and truth.
