Elim has always been and will continue to be committed to providing impactful and affordable Christian education. Our cost of attendance continues to remain affordable and
100% of our full-time students receive Financial Aid. We are committed to ensuring that out-of-pocket direct college expenses for full-time residential students will not exceed $13,900, regardless of the program they are enrolled in.
Financial Aid Opportunities
Our goal is to ensure that every student who desires to attend Bible college will not be held back because of finances. That is why 100% of full time Elim students will receive financial assistance. Federal Aid
Aid provided by the United States Department of Education includes grants and federal work study (job on campus). For U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens, filling out the application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a critical first step in determining your eligibility for federal aid. EBIC also uses information from the FAFSA form to determine institutional aid. Please see below for additional information.
Federal Loans
Elim Bible Institute and College offers a variety of federal loans. This is money that will need to be paid back with interest. Please see below for information on available loans.
EBC Institutional Aid
EBC Institutional Aid is financial assistance that comes directly from the college and does not need to be paid back! Institutional Aid includes scholarships and campus employment. Please see below for additional information.
Veterans Benefits
Elim Bible College is approved by the New York State Department of Veteran Services, Bureau of Veterans Education, for veterans and other eligible persons.

Professional Judgement
EBIC allows students to apply for federal professional judgment. Applicants may pursue professional judgment due to special or unusual circumstances; documentation is required in order to complete the professional judgment process.

International Applicants
Canadian Students are considered for EBC Institutional Aid eligibility after completing a Canadian Income Verification form. If the student is a resident of Ontario, they will need to apply for OSAP. For questions about the OSAP process, please contact the Financial Aid Office at financialaid@elim.edu.

Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA)
For U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens, filling out the application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a critical first step in determining your eligibility for federal aid as well as institutional aid.
The FAFSA school code for Elim Bible College is 042514.
Federal Loans
The loans offered at Elim Bible Institute and College are the following Federal loans: Direct Subsidized Loans, Direct Unsubsidized Loans, and PLUS Loans. A student loan is money borrowed that will have to be paid back with interest.
Complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN). This must be completed by all first-time borrowers before loans are disbursed. Upon graduation, withdrawal or decreasing enrollment to below half-time, students who take out a loan must complete Exit Counseling on the Federal Student Aid website. After Exit Counseling is completed, student then meet with the Financial Aid Officer to review loan repayment information.
As a student or parent borrower, your Federal loan information is submitted to the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS), and will be accessible by guaranty agencies, lenders, and schools determined to be authorized users of the data system.
New York State Assistance

EBC Institutional Aid
Institutional Aid is awarded based on a student’s financial need and on a first-come, first served basis. We cannot guarantee the availability of Institutional Aid for Financial Applications received after Financial Deadlines. Institutional Aid does not apply to fees or any direct costs to EBC such as room and board costs while at the NYSUM internship in New York City.
